Several fun things have happened the last few weeks, and I apologize for the lack of posting. My excuse is the camera situation. My camera has been on the fritz for awhile now (after an unfortunate spill and a generally rough life) and I didn’t want to post pics that are sub-par since my blog has been very photo-focused. I bought a new camera yesterday and it is taking fabulous pictures– so, game on.

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.

Kayaking on the Elk River. Laura: I bought pink (faux) crocs at Target that morning and they were great!

Below are some pics of Misfit Camping. We all had fun and got back alive, but it was definitely an adventure.

Below: pics of Big & Rich at the WAC! They were in town to premier/promote “The 8th of November”– documentary about a Vietnam battle. It was amazing. If you get the chance to see it, you should take advantage. After the documentary, they performed and took requests. It was awesome. And they are coming for a concert the end of September– and Shorty is trying to score me tickets. :)

Last night, went to Poker night at Shorty and Allison’s house. Allison is due in 5 weeks! These are her puppies, Cresie and Chesney.

**Those last two pictures were taken with the new camera!**

I will do better with my posting. Going to SA for Labor Day!! :)

Emmys are tonight!

I love the pink (faux) crocs!  Very princess-like…

And I really hope you guys didn’t leave those aluminum cans like that.  The tree huggers of America can, and will, hunt you down.

    Couple things:

    1. Those aluminum cans had beer in them and you can bet your life they were not only picked up but washed off and enjoyed by my fellow campers.

    2. They were not dropped there. I don’t know if you can tell by the picture but Keith ran over that cooler with his truck and it exploded everywhere. It sounded a little like a gun shot.
