This will be my first pic-free post in awhile.  It’s been a very busy few weeks and I have news on several fronts.

My Mom is home! The Desert Chief is home for good! She came home last week and is currently on tour. She was in Arkansas this week for a few days and left here headed north for Fremont and Sioux Falls. Check your local listings.

Sister Laura is home from her travels as well. You MUST check out her pics. She is saving the world, one toucan at a time. So proud of her!

My 6-month anniversary at Saatchi was July 23 and along with that came my first Formal Evaluation process. It went very well and as of Friday, 28 July I have been promoted to Account Executive. I am now assigned to the Baby Care account for Procter & Gamble.  I am responsible for coordinating projects from creative conception to in-store execution for Pampers, Luvs and Kandoo.  There are some exciting things going on in Wal-Mart and especially in the Baby Dept. We are helping them overhaul the Baby Gift Registry program among other things, and there are a lot of changes coming soon stemming from the success of the Plano Store

As of yesterday, I am no longer working at Outback. My manager, Mark, is leaving the company and I’ve decided to follow him. Those of you who know Fayetteville probably know the Brew Pub on the corner of Dickson and West. It is somewhat of a Fayetteville landmark and will only benefit from Mark’s influence. I will be starting there in a few weeks and can’t wait for Football season to start!

Going to San Antonio this weekend! I get to see Mom and Dad and Chip and Laura and Keebler and Becky and Punky! Should be a good weekend.  Maybe I’ll have some good pictures after that!

Maybe I’ll smoke a brisket just for you…   The toughest part about smoking one of those suckers is getting it lit…  Anyway,  looking forward to your arrival.

You should advertise something about Alaska.  Like have pictures of little kids sitting in moose antlers or climbing trees with bears.  Yep, that’s a great idea right there.  Maybe I should work there too.
