so the car search is slow going. couple things:

1. i've gotten 10ish calls about my truck but no offers, BUT the guys at Landers offered to give me a small trade-in for it, which shocked me

2. i've never had a car note before

3. i had liability only on my 4runner, and insurance on any car i've looked at buying will be about triple what i've been paying

4. i start paying on my student loans come summer

SO! there's that. hopefully i'll have good news on that front soon.

in other bad news-- my new job is making me gain weight. (well, i'm choosing to blame it on the new job, i'm not totally sure the cause of the problem) working evenings had me on a 3-meal-every-2-day schedule. i'd usually eat once a day about 3 or 4 oclock-- sometimes earlier, but i rarely ate dinner because i was at work. NOW, i am on a normal schedule and i am hungry when i get to work if i don't eat something in the morning and i go to lunch with people from work or whatever, and then i'm home at night and am hungry/bored so i eat some more. this 3meals a day thing is for the birds. not sure what to do about this yet, but i'll come up with something.

GOOD NEWS! i am planning a trip south next month! Mom will be home and I'm planning on getting down to San Antonio to hang out with Dad and the girls. I am SO excited.

I got a letter in the mail yesterday about going to pick up my graduation regalia at school. hmm.

Overall Total:  103 -- which apparently makes me a movie "whore". i'm just glad i didn't have to admit how many times i've seen some of those movies. and most of my top 25 list isn't even on this list. ALSO-- there were some random "adult" films on the list that i am happy to announce i have never heard of, much less seen.

Sarah, I'm disturbed by the movies you have NOT seen. Garden State? Amelie? Donnie Darko? The first 3 Star Wars movies? STARSKY AND HUTCH? All classics! You need to see them ASAP! Especially Garden State, Amelie, and Starsky and Hutch. Snoop Dogg as a police informant...it just doesn't get any better.

in my defense. i tried to watch garden state but my roommate and i somehow broke our DVD player with garden state inside. to my knowledge, it is still there.
i have no use for the first 3 star wars movies, though i've clearly never given them a chance.
i'll do better, leah.
