My mom called tonight to tell me she doesn't know when she'll be able to call again. She's leaving in the next few days to go to Kuwait for a year. People like her, and my brother and my dad are in the military so people like me don't have to be. And I'll start wearing my two-timezone watch again tomorrow.

did you know i've never seen the fox and the hound? and this is coming from a person whose favorite movie has muppets in it.sorry to hear about your mom's departure. i wouldn't be able to live without the parentals nearby. but then, i'm more of a baby than i seem. let's hang out soon.
