I watched the season finale of Desperate Housewives last night (instead of Deadwood...) having never seen a previous episode.  It was mildly confusing, but I think I like it and will make an effort to catch up and watch it in the future.

We went to Don and Keith's for supper.  Calvin and Melanie with baby Calvin, and Lesleigh were there too. Don grilled chicken and made potato salad and beans and I brought cheesecake. Yum! We were all sitting around after stuffing ourselves silly wishing we hadn't ... but it was SO good. I got to see Ace, too, which always makes my day.  He is getting so smart. AND he is getting bigger.  Not taller, just thicker.  When I got him from the pound he was really scrawny, and he's fattened up quite nicely now.  I have a picture but it's really fuzzy.  I'll post one soon.
